Happy New Year!
2007 will go down in our book as an exciting, successful year in Arabian Reining! Our success in the showring with our stallion Free Zee Cowboy was highlighted with a Championship in the Open Reining at Region 8! We also qualified for U.S. Nationals where Cowboy showed in the Open and the Amateur divisions.
Equally as exciting are the upcoming two year olds we will start this year by Cowboy. Both Sam and Sis are have their sires white markings, great personalities, and willing attitudes. We are just thrilled with their mental aptitude and athleticism. We are proud of Cowboy for his apparent success in the breeding shed!
Saqqara Free, our 7 yr old reiner, got Top Tens at Scottsdale AOTR reining in 2007, and Top Tens at Youth Nationals in Reining JTR 13 & Under, as well as U.S. Nationals in AOTR Reining! This little powerhouse is a joy to work with and has been equally successful at the NRHA shows. We look forward to an exciting 2008 as we all “grow up” together!
2008 also welcomes the first big year of competition for our Jr. Stallion, SF Obed’s Dusk. This home bred stallion was shown extensively NRHA in 2007, and looks to start his successful Arabian Reining career in 2008. We will also stand Dusk for the first time in 2008, breeding him to one of our own proven broodmares!
